Spray some powder onto the glue and mix it with a toothpick till you reach the consistency of putty. Quickly apply the putty and even it with a hobby knife to minimise the residue around the gap. Mixed putty will be good for a minute or two depending on how much powder you introduce. Please note too little powder mill result in putty that exhibits shrinkage too much powder will make the putty harden before you can apply it. We advise you use the powder and glue in 1:1 ratio. If shrinkage is the case simply apply additional layer of putty. Which glue is best suited to use with the powder? We recommend VMS Flexy SLOW - it will give you some extra open time, but the powder can be used with any CA glue. My filler bottle contents seem low? All bottles are filled at around 2/3 of their capacity for a technical reason - the filling machine can't fill the powder to the brim as the powder gets aerated during filling which momentarily increases the volume, if we continued to fill a bottle the powder would overflow which would interfere with production flow. The powder itself settles down when the bottle is left alone for several days and the volume decreases. This phenomenon is related to the difference between bulk volume and actual volume. A bottle contents is 12-13 gr which is enough to fill around hundred gaps. BACK

The liquid needs from 15 to 30 minutes to dry, this depends on a coat's thickness. When the initially creamy white coat turns translucent you are good to go. Can I apply the liquid over an acrylic or enamel paint job? Yes, the film formed is 100% safe to an underlying coat and can be removed with ease later on. How long can the mask stay on my model? The masking fluid should be removed within 48h after application. How to clean my brush after using the liquid? - VMS Decal Solution Classic
VMS Decal Classic is solution that gives your decals superb adhesion and moulds them to the shape of your model for a stunning "painted on" effect! VMS Decal Set & Fix + Softener: Classic approach to decals! Decals need two things: an adhesive which will help them stick to the model better (especially true for bare plastic) and softening agent which will mould the decals to the surface. This classic decal bundle will enable you to cope with any type of decals and surface! PAINTED-ON EFFECT ON VISION PORTS PAINTED-ON EFFECT ON WELDING SEAM Boost the adhesion with the added high strength adhesive and soften the decals using this classic decal bundle! See VMS Decal Classic Bundle in action! VMS Decal Classic Bundle PRODUCT SUMMARY This classic solution includes two separate fluids that will get the job done for you in the proven way. Fantastic adhesion achieved with proprietary adhesive formulation thanks to the Set & Fix fluid and conformity to model shape thanks to the Softener fluid. Use: Apply the Set & Fix fluid over target area and then apply the decal. Squeeze excessive fluid out and wipe it away with a brush soaked with water. To mould the decal apply VMS Decal Softener over the decal and wait 1-3 minutes. The decal will soften and adjust to the surface of the model. You can use acotton bud to help the decal conform to the surface, perform gentle tapping motion. Do not get the softening fluid on the paint job as it can dissolve the paint (true for any softening fluid brand). If the paint reacts with the softener simply introduce a bit of water to neutralise the softener and leave the paint be, it will revert to its original state. After 24h seal the decal using VMS Varnish HD. Due to the multitude of decals on the market and varying thickness of carrier films always check if the softener is compatible on a spare decal first! Combine with: Decals Recommended techniques: Brush Available volumes: 2 x 30 ml dropper bottle VMS Decal Set & Soften 2 in 1 FAQ How to use the fluids? Apply the Set & Fix fluid over target area and then apply the decal. Squeeze excessive fluid out and wipe it away with a brush soaked with water. After 24h seal the decal using VMS Varnish HD. Due to the multitude of decals on the market and varying thickness of carrier films always check if the softener is compatible on a spare decal first! How effective is the fluid? One model requires around 0.5-1 ml of fluid depending on the decal amount, bottle hold 2 x 30 ml. You will be able to finish around 30-60 1/35 scale models before you run out of the product. What agent to use to clean brushes? Plain water is enough to clean the brushes. How long do I need to wait before I can varnish my model? Wait 24h - the decal will achieve the best fit over this time. Do I need to use gloss varnish before applying decals (so the can be positioned better)? Our decal fluid is formulated to let the decal slide over surface without the need for a gloss undercoat but you can still do that if you like, there are no restrictions. The paint reacted when the decal softener fluid was applied. We advise applying the fluid over properly cured layers of paint (7+ days old). Make sure the fluid is applied over the decal only. If the fluid gets on the paint just neutralise it using a brush soaked with water and wipe away and leave the pant to dry it will regain it's normal look. Decal has broken down into small pieces. Makes sure your decals are compatible with the fluid using a spare decal. If the softener is too strong you can dilute it with water in 1:1 or 1:2 (water to softner) ratio and still use the fluid with your decals. This problem is rare though. BACK Add to Cart

The glue dries to to a crystal-clear invisible film and can bond micronised sands and coarse gravel alike! Application with bundled dropper bottle is very enjoyable and easy, whenever you run out of glue you can easily refill the bottle with more capillary action goodness! Sand & Ballast Freeze PRODUCT SUMMARY Sand & Ballast Freeze is capillary action acrylic adhesive with very low surface tension formulated to bond loose material such as sand, gravel, rubble or ballast. Allows for bonding together very tiny, even micronised grains, without disrupting the structures they are forming, tested with both fine 40 µm sands (0,04 mm) and coarse gravel up to several millimetres in diameter. Saturated terrain, can be further shaped after application. Making foot prints, dunes, tire or track prints in wet structures is easier than before! IMPORTANT: The product is susceptible to low temperatures and mustn't be frozen! Store and handle in room temperature. Recommended techniques: Capillary action with dropper bottle or brush Available volumes: 30 ml Add to Cart See Sand & Ballast Freeze in action! Product FAQ How much terrain will I be able to model? Effectiveness the product is high. You will be able to fully saturate 1150 cm² of terrain (equivalent of a 33 x 33 cm diorama, layer 0.5 cm thick ) How long does it take for the adhesive to bond? Depending on structure thickness allow 12 h for thin layers (0.5-1 cm thick) and up to 48 h for thicker structures. What is the open time of the product? Depending on ambient temperature and materials used saturated material can be manipulated for 60 - 120 minutes. What tools to use? Use supplied dropper bottle to easily apply the adhesive. Hold the spout very closely to your terrain, squeeze it very gently and saturate it with adhesive so as to avoid the "rain drop" effect. Drops will slide from the spout and penetrate the structure. How to make imprints such as tank track or tire marks? You can make imprints around 30 - 45 minutes after application, no special technique needs to be involved. Best imprints can be made in fine sands. What's the minimum and maximum grain size I can fix? Sand & Ballast Freeze is very well balanced. We have tested the product extensively with both fine sands 40 µm (0.04 mm) and coarse gravels 2-8 mm, with bigger stones mixed in. I overdosed the adhesive and the glue is bleeding at the base of my structures. That's no biggie, simply sprinkle more sand or gravel over the excessive glue. BACK

Easily remove paint and pigemnt stains off of your scale model! VMS Stain Remove - paint surface cleaner Add to Cart This one of a kind paint surface cleaner will help you remove and retouch bad or excessive enamel-based weathering and all kind of pigment staining off of the surface of your model restoring its original base coat color. You can use it both to fix problems and create special effects. This product removes pigment staining. Pigment staining is hard to remove pigment incorporated into the paint surface, this is not a paint remover. Dry pigment stains can be removed without any preparation. If you need to remove bad weathering created with enamel weathering liquids and fixers you can remove them but first you need to remove the binders with Universal weathering carrier "standard" type. Once this is done you can use VMS Stain Remove to clean the paint surface. Please watch our video to learn how to use the product. Available volumes: 20 ml dropper bottle See VMS Stain Remove in Action Product FAQ How to use the product? To remove an actual pigment stain (no binders are involved - you worked with dry pigments or you worked with weathering colours/fixers and binders were already removed) apply the product and agitate the stain with a brush until it starts disappearing. You can also use a cotton bud. Once done wipe the area clean with a brush soaked with tap water. To remove bad enamel-based weathering, that is: excessive weathering liquid effects, pigments that were fixed with pigment binders, you need to remove the binders before you can remove actual pigment staining. Remove the binder using Universal weathering carrier "standard" type. Once the binder is gone and only translucent pigment stain remains, dry the area with a hair drier. Now you can use VMS Stain Remove to get rid of the pigment incorporated into the paint surface. BACK
