We love modelling rust on our vehicles. No matter if you are modelling a tank husk rusting away in some field, want to add some rust on a muffler or dozer tracks these colours will help you produce professional results. 

No. 07a Dark Iron Oxide Old Rust Dark Tone

Dark iron-oxide. Recommended for reproducing old rust on mufflers, towing lugs, chains, steel cables, suspension of wheeled vehicles trains and carts,  springs, tracks, road-wheels, OVM. Old rust is always darker than fresh. This is base pigment colour for rust modulation. Apply it first and follow up with lighter shades to produce authentic appearance. No. 07b Dark Iron Oxide Old Rust Medium Tone

Lighter shade of dark rust sitting between old and fresh rust. Adds variation and allows for easier blending of colours. If you want to portray gradual oxidation process or simply model rust in its intermediate state this colour will do the trick. No. 08a Light Iron Oxide Fresh Rust

Light rust colour, excellent for creating fresh rust effects on new mufflers, tracks, hull, OVM. Can be combined with darker base shades for added variation. This colour is quite universal and always produces good results. No. 08b Light Iron Oxide Fresh Rust XT Bright

High contrast fresh rust colour, if basic fresh rust colour seems too dark to you this will do the trick. The brightest of iron oxides, use with caution! Only to be applied by dry-brushing! Excellent for highlighting while making fresh rust effects on new mufflers, tracks, hull, OVM.
