Spot-on European earth  colours

This is very elaborate pigment category that comprises European light/white soils - albeluvisoils, brown soils (cambisols, luvisols) and dark soils known as chernozems. VMS EU earth colours come in warm and cold hues to better fit you scenario, model coat or colour preference.  

No. 01a EU Light Earth Cold Tone

Three colour pigment premix. Cold tone variant of most dominant European light soils - albeluvisol and podzol, which cover 29% of the continent. This earth colour is characteristic of northern and central Europe. Most frequent scenarios include forest roads, forest trenches, meadows, dusty country roads, villages. Best used to reproduce dust and light mud via evenly spread weathering liquid. Please click the jar image to see this pigment in action!

No. 02c EU Brown Earth Clay Rich Tone

Four colour pigment premix. The most intensive variant of brown soils. Clay deposits are found below the lighter surface horizon of the soil. This colour is best suited for vehicles that had an opportunity to properly distort the soil: on proving grounds, often frequented routes, dig sites. No. 03a EU Dark Earth Chernozem Cold Tone

Dark earth is rich in organic matter hence the blackish colour. Russians call it "chernozem" where "chern(y)" means black and "zemija" earth. If you want to portray harsh conditions of eastern front this colour will do the trick. Remember: actual chernozem is close to black only when wet, when dry it shows numerous shades of grey and brown! This  4 colour premix acts just as the real thing.  Brownish when dusted deep dark grey with a hint of brown when wet! Please click the jar image to see this pigment in action!

No. 03b EU Dark Earth Chernozem Warm Tone

This is a warmer variant of chernozem or dark earth. It can appear along regular cold tone chernozem or separately.
